1st Anniversary of the ACNA!
The ACNA
has enjoyed its first year serving the residents and
businesses of Addison Circle. It was a great 1st
year.
Our first
year we built relationships with the Town of Addison
personnel, attended city council meetings and addressed
issues in the neighborhood.
The ACNA
brought the residents of the Circle together with monthly
social events. These events allow the residents of all the
developments in the neighborhood the opportunity to meet,
experience the businesses that make Addison Circle what it
is, and to have some great food and drink.
The ACNA
would like to thank
Astoria,
Avanti,
Antonio’s,
Greenz,
The Urban Blossom and
WaterTower Theatre for hosting ACNA events in 2008.
Check the
web site often to see where the ACNA will be in 2009.
Thank you
to all our Members for making the ACNA a great success in
its first year! Make sure to help us celebrate the ACNA 1st
Anniversary in February.

Neighborhood News
Break-ins
Even though we live in an incredibly safe
neighborhood we are not immune from crime. Occasionally a
break-in attempt is reported. Always make sure to lock the
doors to your car and your home. Use your security system if
you have one.
Be a Responsible Dog Owner
An issue the ACNA constantly hears about from
residents is dog waste. Please pick up after your dog. The
Town of Addison provides bags for free. Addison also has a
leash law. Even though your dog may be friendly you don’t
know if your dog may react unexpectedly to another dog or
situation. Some residents have mentioned not wanting to
frequent certain parks due to off-leash dogs and pet waste.
Please keep Addison a friendly place for all residents by
following the Addison ordinances regarding dogs.
Addison Events 2009
Addison has released the 2009 Special Events
schedule. Go to the Addison web site for a full list of
events.

City Council Changes
The Town of Addison was saddened by the passing of
Councilman, Dennis Kraft. The City Council has appointed
Kimberly Lay to fill the open position until the next City
election on May 9. All City Council meeting agendas and
schedules are posted at the Addison Government web site:

the Circle you will receive an email with information
regarding renewal of your membership. The annual membership

Click the “join” link at the
bottom of this page to renew your membership online or to
print the appropriate form. Filled in membership forms may

Many people asked about paying with a credit card. By using
the online membership form you can use Paypal to make your

We hope you have found value in the service ACNA provides
and will join us for another year. Your membership dues
help keep the ACNA going!
